Kamal Haasan has a shock for Indian 2 Team:- South Indian Superstar Kamal Haasan is on a break from some time. He suffered a minor accident and it took him six months to recover completely. The actor returned back to the sets of Indian 2 after which a major accident on the sets made the shoot came to a halt. Differences cropped up between the film's director Shankar and the producers Lyca Productions. After the coronavirus pandemic, the makers wanted to slash down the budget but Shankar was not in a mood to calm down. The shoot of Indian 2 got delayed.

Kamal Haasan signed his next film in the direction of Khaidi fame Lokesh Kanagaraj. The young director completed Vijay's Master recently and the film is aimed for release soon. With the delay in the shoot of Indian 2, Kamal Haasan decided to complete the shoot of Lokesh Kanagaraj's film. The movie will have its official launch on November 7th on Kamal Haasan's birthday. The shoot of the film commences on the same day and the film is said to be a political thriller. Kamal Haasan will produce this political drama on Raajkamal Films International banner. The film is aimed for summer 2021 release.
