The actress completed shooting for a small budget film directed by Krish recently and she is shooting for Nithiin's upcoming movie Check that will release next year. Chandrasekhar Yeleti is the director and Rakul Preet Singh is in talks for a couple of Telugu films that will start rolling soon.

As per the latest news, Rakul Preet Singh signed her next Bollywood film after the super success of De De Pyaar De. The big announcement is made today and Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn will be seen in the lead roles. The film is titled May Day and will be directed, produced by Ajay Devgn. Rakul Preet Singh is all excited about the project and working with Amitabh Bachchan. The actress posted saying "Can’t express how thrilled iam to be on board as a copilot in #MAYDAY . It’s a dream come true to work with @SrBachchan sir. @ajaydevgn thankyouuu and preparing for takeoff". The shoot commences in Hyderabad from December and May Day releases next year.
