Victory Venkatesh took a long break due to the coronavirus pandemic. He has been picking up remakes. The actor completed the shoot of Naarappa, the remake of Tamil blockbuster film Asuran. Srikanth Addala is the director and Suresh Productions, V Creations are the producers. After Drishyam 2 received a positive response in Malayalam, Venkatesh decided to remake the film. Drishyam 2 is directed by Jeethu Joseph and the entire shoot is completed in a record time of 40 days. Suresh Productions and Aashirvaad Cinemas are the producers of Drishyam 2.
Now, Suresh Babu closed all the deals for Naarappa and Drishyam 2 . Both these films will head for a direct digital release. Naarappa completed all the censor formalities today and the film will stream on Amazon Prime from July 24th. The entire rights of Drishyam 2 are sold for Disney Plus Hotstar for a record price and the film will be available for streaming on the platform from August 15th. The makers pocketed Rs 70 crores through the deals of Naarappa and Drishyam 2.
