Vijay's Vaarasudu Controversy Reaches New Heights:- The Telugu Producers Council issued an ultimatum that there would be no scope for dubbed films during the Sankranthi holiday season as there are two straight films Chiranjeevi's Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna's Veerasimha Reddy. Dil Raju is producing Vijay's film Vaarasudu which is directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film is made on a high budget and there are huge expectations on the film. Dil Raju is in plans to lock a maximum number of screens for Vaarasudu during Sankranthi season. The distributors are considering Waltair Veerayya and Veerasimha Reddy and Vaarasudu is the third choice.
The Tamil producers are considering to ban Telugu films if Vaarasudu does not get a wide release across the Telugu states during this Sankranthi season. The war reached new heights. Dil Raju is super confident and he is quite calm about the issue. Mega producer Allu Aravind said that no one can stop any film as the audience are watching interesting content. Mythri Movie Makers are producing Waltair Veerayya and Veerasimha Reddy. Both these films are made on high budgets and are carrying good expectations. Vijay is racing ahead with back-to-back hits and he is doing a family entertainer after a long time. There would be a triangular fight between Waltair Veerayya, Veerasimha Reddy and Vaarasudu during the holiday season.
