Mamta Mohandas takes a dig on Nayanthara:- Mamta Mohandas has blockbusters last decade and later the actress stayed away from films after she was detected with cancer. Early this year Mamta was detected with the autoimmune disease vitiligo. Leaving this, She shares her experience and her early struggles in an interview for a youtube channel. The actress revealed that her part was completely edited from Rajinikanth’s Kathaanayakudu film because of Nayanthara.

Kathaanayakudu released on August 1, 2008 in P Vasu direction. She shared that Nayanthara was not comfortable with Mamta, as she was taking most of the screen time and told the crew that if another actress was roped in for the song, she would not come to Kathaanayakudu sets. By the end when the film was released, Mamta's scenes were completely chopped off. She also said that they had only one shot of the back of her head in the frame.

Nayanthara is yet to respond to the allegations made by the Mamta Mohandas. Mamta was last seen in Jana Gana Mana last year and also has a few Malayalam movies in her kitty.
