Weekend Box-office: 2018 Dominates Telugu Releases:- A series of small-budget films got released on Friday. Naresh VK and Pavithra Lokesh's Malli Pelli was promoted aggressively and the film was directed by MS Raju. Malli Pelli released on Friday but the film opened to poor reviews and footfalls. The film did not witness any improvement over the weekend and the audience were not much interested about the film. Chai Bisket backed a small film titled Mem Famous. The film too was promoted all over and it generated curiosity among the youth. The premieres witnessed good footfalls but the film too received a mixed response from the audience.

The makers continued to promote the film but the response was below average. Malayalam super hit film 2018 opened on a decent note and the film witnessed good growth on Saturday and Sunday in A and B centres. 2018 dominated the Telugu releases. Top production house Mythri Movie Makers distributed a small film Men Too and the film struggled to have a decent weekend. Several shows got canceled because of the lack of audience. Bichagadu 2 also remained decent over the second weekend. On the whole, dubbing films dominated straight Telugu releases.
