Rajinikanth's Jailer opes to huge numbers:- Superstar Rajinikanth’s most awaited Jailer was released yesterday with very strong advance bookings. The film has a historic opening of Rs 49 Cr gross. As per sources Jailer has shattered many records worldwide, but the official number is yet to come out. The total pre-release business of Jailer is Rs122 Cr and if the same strong bookings continue, no wonder Jailer will reach the breakeven by Sunday.

Jailer has already 78 percent of occupancy worldwide. Only Tamil Nadu would bring Rs 25 Cr on first day, Karnataka is expected to have Rs 11 Cr collections and Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh - Telangana) are expected to see Rs 7 Cr. Trade analysts expect that Jailer had the biggest-ever opening of 2023 for Tamil Cinema.
