Allu Arjun Scripts History:- Telugu cinema is in its best phase from the past few years. Films like Baahubali erased the barriers of regional cinema and paved path for pan-Indian films. Now, Allu Arjun scripted history and he emerged as the first Telugu actor to bag a National Award. Telugu cinema witnessed several legendary actors but bagging a national award remained a dream. Allu Arjun's performance as Pushpa impressed the jury. Allu Arjun took special care right from his looks to his performance in the film.

The film's music composer Devi Sri Prasad was announced as the Best Music Director and MM Keeravani bagged the national award for the Best Background score. Uppena bagged National award for the Best Telugu film in the regional language category. Alia Bhatt (Gangubai Kathiawadi) and Kriti Sanon (Mimi) had to share the Best Actress award. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect directed by R Madhavan bagged the Best Film award.
