Tollywood Filmmakers puzzled over non-Theatrical Business:- The non-theatrical rights of the films featuring stars reached the highest after pandemic. The digital rights are sold for record prices and so are the Hindi deals for Telugu films. There are lot of players for the Hindi rights (satellite, digital, Youtube and theatrical) in bulk and the makers are pocketing big through these deals. But things changed badly from the past two months. There are no takers for the Hindi rights of Telugu films. The digital players too are not ready to shell out big for the digital rights and the makers are puzzled.

The producers of several upcoming Telugu films are puzzled completely about the non-theatrical deals. To calculate the budgets, there should be an idea about the non-theatrical deals. Our actors are charging a bomb estimating their own market for every film. Our producers are not in a position to bargain about the remunerations and some of them are going ahead taking risks. The theatrical market too is not consistent and it completely depends on the buzz that surrounds the film.
