Troubles continue for Koratala Siva:- Koratala Siva, a director with an impressive track record of successful films like Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, and Bharat Ane Nenu, experienced a dream-like beginning to his career. These films, starring top-tier actors, catapulted him to great heights in the Tollywood industry. However, his fortunes took a turn for the worse with Acharya. The movie faced multiple delays during production and, upon release, turned out to be a complete disaster.

This setback not only affected Koratala Siva's career but also had financial implications as he had taken on the responsibility of production due to unforeseen circumstances. Chiranjeevi, the lead actor in Acharya, openly blamed Koratala Siva for the film's failure. As a result, a planned film with Allu Arjun was canceled.

Just when things seemed to be looking up for Koratala Siva with NTR coming on board for Devara, he faced another setback. He found himself entangled in a plagiarism case, accused of copying the story from his previous success, Srimanthudu. The court ruled in favor of writer Sarath Chandra, who filed the case, and ordered criminal action against Koratala Siva.
