Vishal's clarity on Political Entry:- On February 7, Tamil actor Vishal clarified that he has no plans of entering politics at the moment, dispelling rumors of his intention to start a political party that had been circulating on social media. In his statement, Vishal expressed his commitment to helping people in need through his fan club, a role he has taken on and will continue to fulfill. While he did not rule out the possibility of a political venture in the future, he emphasized his gratitude towards the people of Tamil Nadu for recognizing him as both an actor and a social worker. Vishal also highlighted his desire to transform his fan club into a platform that brings significant benefits to those who require assistance. In addition, he hinted at the prospect of establishing a welfare movement that will have a positive impact in every district.

Operating at the district, constituency, and branch levels, I assist numerous underprivileged students each year through the 'Devi Foundation', an organization named after my mother. Additionally, I am currently offering aid to farmers who have been adversely affected. As I travel from place to place for shooting, I take the opportunity to connect with individuals and listen to their fundamental needs and concerns. Through my people's welfare movement, I strive to address their demands effectively. It is important to note that I engage in these welfare activities without any expectation of political gain. If circumstances necessitate, I am prepared to advocate for the people in the future without hesitation. In 2017, Vishal's participation in the RK Nagar bypoll election was invalidated due to the fact that he had only eight valid supporters, two short of the required number. This marked his initial venture into electoral politics, which regrettably came to an abrupt end.
