Guntur Kaaram Makers paid record GST:- Guntur Kaaram is one more blackmark in director Trivikram's career. It was Mahesh Babu who carried the entire film on his shoulders and the Sankranthi season saved the film from disaster status. Mahesh Babu's screen presence and his performance made the family crowds flock to theatres and Trivikram was badly trolled for his work. The makers spent lavishly on the film and a huge amount of money was extremely wasted during the shoot. But the makers did a record business finally. Most of the Andhra buyers reached breakeven mark but Dil Raju who distributed the film in Nizam region lost big money.

As per the update, Haarika and Hassine Creations paid a record GST of Rs 18 crores for the distributors to recover their losses. It is unclear about the settlement between the producer and Nizam distributor. For other buyers, the producers paid the GST and they made decent profits in the final run. S Radha Krishna who is known for his clean track record with his distributors has settled the GST bills. For now, Trivikram is on a break and he is yet to decide about his next film. All the top actors are occupied for the next two years and Trivikram has to work on his script for a longer time to bounce back.
