Post Censor, Family Star gets Trimmed:- Vijay Devarakonda's reunion with "Geetha Govindam" director Parasuram hits theaters tomorrow under the title "Family Star". The film, starring Mrunal Thakur, was under censorship for the last few days and the Censor Board was asking the producers to reduce 'abusive words'. Here comes another interesting fact. Although the controlled version of "Family Star" is actually 163 minutes long, the band announced that the final version of the concert is only 150 minutes long.
Apparently, the producer of the film, Dil Raju, and the director, Parasuram, felt that even after censorship, 13 minutes of the film could have easily been cut, and they cut it because they wanted to give an emotional experience to the audience. Dil Raju is said to have once again captured the imagination of the audience with his new 150-minute song "Family Star" and wants Family Star to continue airing as it has received an overwhelming response. Otherwise, this could easily take several minutes, perhaps two videos, the source says.
