SS Rajamouli announces Baahubali: Crown of Blood:- Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has announced a new animated series of his popular series Baahubali. The series is titled Baahubali: Crown of Blood and is set in the world of his two-part historical epic Baahubali. The Baahubali movie is set in the fictional kingdom of Mahishmati and was a huge success at the box office. They popularized Telugu films across the country and eventually around the world. The film starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia in lead roles. Rajamouli shared a teaser of the title announcement on his official X page (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday. "When the people of Mahishmati chant his name, no force in the universe can stop him from returning. Trailer of 'Baahubali: Crown of Blood' animated series coming soon!" he wrote along with the post. The short announcement teaser also mentioned that Baahubali: Crown of Blood trailer will be released soon. No further information was revealed in the teaser. The first part, Baahubali: The Beginning, released in 2015, follows Shivdu, an adventurous young man who helps his lover Avantika rescue Devasena, the former queen of Mahishmati, who is currently under the tyranny of King Bhallaladeva. It's a story, and it ends with: Cliffhanger: “Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?” The story ends with Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017). The two films were released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi and grossed a total of over Rs 100 crore worldwide. The Baahubali films, which also starred Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar, also spawned the Prime Video animated series Baahubali: The Lost Legend (2017).
