Jr.NTR violates tricolor code in ‘Shakti’?

junior-ntr-latest-imageActor Jr. NTR has landed himself into a controversy by preferring to wear his patriotism to his shoes rather than on his sleeves in his latest film ‘Shakti’. The film was released across South India today with more than one thousand prints. In Tamil, it was titled ‘Om Shakti’.

In a publicity poster, printed on the cover page of a popular Telugu film magazine, NTR is shown wearing shoes with the tricolor on them which amounted to violating the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act, 1950, the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971 and the Flag Code of India, 2002.

Unfortunately for him, Jr. NTR attracted attention for the wrong reasons for his using the tricolor on a wrong place for his role in the just released film ‘Shakti’ which was reportedly made with a budget of Rs.40 Cr. by well known producer Ashwini Dutt.

But the film magazine editor Suresh Kodeti said that he was given the photograph by the production house which also used it for wider publicity through posters across South India.

But, it is not known yet whether the actor is actually shown in any particular scene wearing the shoe having the tricolor in the movie or it is used just as publicity stunt like many film makers do.
