Charming girl Charmi, who made her debut in Telugu, with ‘Neethodu kaavali’, in the year 2002. Since then, till date she has done many glamour roles and some off beat roles too. In recent times, her career graf is experiencing a Down fall. When asked about the same, charmi replied,’ups and downs are common in any career option. At the initial stage of my career I was all excited to do only glamour roles.

After a point of time, I was looking out for performance based roles too. As a result I have acting in some rewarding movies like, ‘Anukokunda Oka Roju’, ‘Mangala’, ‘Manta’, ‘Sixteen Day’s. Some were successful and others bombed at the box office. Keeping in mind, today’s competition and how audience prefer a Heroine to be, I am again concentrating on glamour roles.’

Then why Item numbers? When asked the same, the actress looses her temper and gets a bit furious, ‘what is wrong in doing an item number? Almost all the Heroines of B – Town are appearing in Item umbers. Moreover, the more item numbers you do, the more hot you are considered to be’, says Charmi.

True, there is no difference between a Glamour Heroine and an Item girl today. It seems, Charmi has known this fact!
