Yesterday, I have reported that the Hindi version of this film will be releasing on February 1st and not today as race 2 is releasing today in B - Town. Now, the movie's release has been halted for a while in the rest of the languages as well.

Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy has passed the orders to halt the release of vishwaroopam at least till 28th and the Tamil Nadu authorities have also halted the release of the film don't know till what time.

The reason being, some of the Mulsim Authorities have risen and objection on some sequences in the film being a objection to them as these are hurting the self respect of the community and the release would be allowed only if these sequences would be removed from the film. Kamal's efforts to explain no sequence, neither the movie will hurt any community's identity, the authorities request won over the Actor's explanation and as a result, the release of the film came to a halt in all the languages.
