'Rudrama Devi' has been my dream project, I have been thinking about the film from a long time now and glad to produce and direct this film, finally. The regular shoot of this film will go on location from April', said Guna Shekhar, the creator of 'Rudramadevi' on celluloid. Anushka plays the lead role in the film while RaNa is playing another key role.

The shoot of the film started in 1000 pillars temple, recently. First shot was shot on Shivji's idol. On speaking about her role and the film, the lead lady Anushka said, it is her luck to have bagged such a role and she would be giving her 100% to live up to the director’s expectations.
