Bhai Nagarjuna has denied playing a role in the rescue of son Chaitanya's Autonagar Surya. This comes as a surprise to many because it was only after Nagarjuna opened a distribution business that the film was taken out again and dusted.

Autonagar Surya is once again in the running with the production work active. The team would assemble at Malaysia within the next 10 days to can a few pending shots and romantic songs. With Chaitanya and Samantha coming together again for this film, Autonagar Surya team is happy that the film would release.

Notwithstanding the money issues that plagued the film, it is not clear how the film is back on track with Nagarjuna saying he did not invest in Autonagar Surya.
