Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie is still facing script crisis and reportedly, he dropped the idea of remaking Katthi.
 
On Bruce Lee movie audio launch, Chiranjeevi specified that, he would make an announcement about 150th movie within 15 days. But not only those 15 days, even Bruce Lee movie is about to complete its run in the theatres, but till date, there is no such response from Chiru.

When director Puri Jagannath was out of the Chiranjeevi movie project, Mega star has invited other young directors to come forward with a script. But as the 150th movie is being considered as the most prestigious one, it seems, no director is able to shape up a proper subject.

So to avoid unnecessary risk, Chiranjeevi believed in minimum guarantee hit director VV Vinayak, to shape up Katthi movie, for a remake.

But after this decision, be it through the fans or the normal audience, Chiranjeevi faced a severe opposition about the remake and asked to do a movie on fresh subject, as 150th movie is a prestigious one.

So Chiranjeevi is again in search of the fresh scripts, and it seems, any announcement cannot be expected in the near future, from the mega star.

Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi already committed 151 and 152 movies too. After 150th movie goes to the sets, the details of those two projects, would also be out.

As known Ram Charan would produce the prestigious mega project on his own banner, Konidela productions. So, not only for Chiranjeevi, even for Ram Charan, this project is a prestigious one, as it is the first movie as the producer in his own banner. So a special care is being taken in choosing the right script.
