Sampath Nandi would be the director of Pawan Kalyan and Dasari Narayana Rao’s project.

Pawan Kalyan earlier promised Dasari Narayana Rao to do a movie. Though Pawan wished to do a movie under his direction, unwilling to take the risk, Dasari said that he would end up, producing it.  

After that, Pawan Kalyan has started getting busy with Sardaar Gabbar Singh movie shooting and Dasari was in a search of the right director and script to start the movie with the Power Star.

Finally, from the close sources, it was now known that, Sampath Nandi was selected as the director, after both Pawan and Dasari liked the script narrated by the young director.

Sampath was supposed to do Gabbar Singh 2 movie. But as Pawan got busy at that time with the political meetings, he suggested Sampath to go for another movie, as it is not good for his (Sampath Nandi) career to waste so long time waiting for him (Pawan Kalyan).   

Coming out of that project, Sampath Nandi recently released his Bengal Tiger movie and proved his capability. Pawan and Dasari liked the movie and then thought he can hold his narrated subject well and thus opted him as the director. The official announcement on the same, is reportedly, going to be out on Sankranthi.

On the other side, other mega heroes are in a tough cold rivalry with Dasari, and Allu Arjun even expressed his anger on the legendary director, publicly, in the recent times. At this point of time, it should be seen, how the mega heroes treat the movie in Pawan Kalyan and Dasari combination.
