Pokiri, the one film that made Mahesh Babu, an overnight huge star and very near to the top chair.

It is not an exaggeration, if I say that, Pokiri records are still unbroken in a few areas. Even in the remote areas and several villages, this Puri Jagannath directorial has run for more than 100 days.

The super massy dialogues and rugged screenplay was immensely liked by all sections of the audience. Since then, Mahesh babu-Puri combination has become magical. The duo later worked for Businessman and even that movie did not disappoint.

Now-aiming for a hat-trick, Mahesh accepted another film with Puri, after liking the script. The movie would go on to the floors, after the duo completes their ongoing projects.

Any producer would find comfortable with Puri as the fast track director completes a film and keeps in producer hands, just within three months, without wasting time and producer’s money.

Moreover, this time, as the film is with super star Mahesh Babu, regardless of the result, the opening collections would be promising. So the producers are eager to pick the film in this combination.

On the other side, after back to back class avatars of Mahesh Babu in Srimanthudu and Brahmothsavam, fans really need to refresh themselves, watching their favorite star in a massy entertainer in mass’s favorite director Puri Jagannath’s movie.

So in any way, this combination is again expected to fetch a lot to the film industry too, along with Mahesh and Puri Jagannath.
