Noted producer Dasari Kiran Kumar expressed his desire once again, to produce a movie for Mega star Chiranjeevi which will be based on the life of ‘Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy’, a village chieftain who lead a rebellion against the British in 1846.
Narasimha Reddy was the freedom fighter who refused to accept British rule after the Nizam surrendered the Rayalaseema region. He was one of the first revolt against the Raj in Pre-Independence India.
Earlier there was buzz, that Megastar will come back on the silver screen playing freedom fighter Narasimha Reddy but Chiru finalized the remake of Tamil movie ‘Kaththi’, which is progressing at brisk pace under the direction of VV Vinayak and titled as ‘Khaidi No 150’, and finally the project of Dasari Kiran Kumar was shelved. But recently Dasari Kiran Kumar said that he wanted to produce the movie.
If everything will go accordingly, Dasari Kiran Kumar will get the opportunity to produce Chiranjeevi’s 151st movie. Currently the producer is waiting for the release of his upcoming venture ‘Siddhratha’ starring Sagar, Ragini and Sakshi, which is gearing up for its release on 16th September.
