Venky And Rana To Team Up For A Remake:- Victory Venkatesh is on a break this year and he did not start shooting for any film. The actor is said to have been listening to scripts however none of them impressed the actor. Venky’s last outing Guru released this year and the movie ended up as a decent box-office grosser all over. Venkatesh has been in plans for a family multi-starrer and he has been eagerly waiting for the right script to work with Rana Daggubati. Even Suresh Babu is in hunt for the right script to make the film possible.
On the other side, Rana Daggubati is racing ahead with back to back hits. His recent outings Ghazi and Baahubali: The Conclusion received exceptional response from the audience all over and the actor is all set for the release of Nene Raju Nene Mantri in the direction of Teja. Kajal is the female lead and Rana will be essaying the role of a politician in the movie. Suresh Productions is bankrolling the movie which has been aimed for August 11th release. Rana has enough interesting projects lined up currently.
The latest news is that Venkatesh and Rana are in talks for the remake of Tamil blockbuster Vikram Vedha which released recently. Directed by Pushkar – Gayathri, the movie featured R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. The film has been receiving exceptional response from the audience and it has been declared as a blockbuster. Y NOT Studios who produced Guru in the past bankrolled the project and the talks for the Telugu version are in advanced stages. The movie is said to be a police – gangster drama which has been inspired from Vikram Betaal. Madhavan played an encounter specialist and Vijay Sethupathi played a gangster in the movie.
The makers confirmed that the talks are currently on for the remake but it is too early to reveal the updates. Shraddha Srinath, Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar and Kathir played other crucial roles in the movie.
