Aishwarya Rai Bachchan returning to South?:- Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has done several South Indian films during the early days of her career. After she turned busy with Hindi movies, she had selectively signed Telugu and Tamil movies. If the latest speculations are to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen in the Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster film Andhadhun. JJ Fredrick will direct this remake and the shoot commences in December. The makers approached Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the role of Tabu from the original and the top actress gave her nod.

Tamil actor Prashanth lost enough weight and he will play the lead role in the remake. The shoot of Andhadhun remake will take place in Pondicherry as per the update. The female lead will be finalized very soon and Prashanth's father Thiagarajan will produce this prestigious project. The film which is yet to be titled will release next year. Tollywood actor Nithiin will play the lead role in the remake of Andhadhun. Merlapaka Gandhi will direct the movie and Tamannaah has been picked up to reprise the role of Tabu. Nabha Natesh is the leading lady and Tagore Madhu produces this untitled project.
