Story

Karthi (Sugan) and Premji Amaren (Parasuram) are friends. While they talk and memorize their past experiences of funny incidents many characters creep up. Director Venkat Prabhu told an ordinary story in an extra ordinary way. First half of the movie is the base for the story and second half moves at a brisk space with lot of surprises, twists and the movie ends with a big bang. As the story has nothing to offer much and as the surprises will remain as surprises only if they are not revealed, it is suggested that those interesting twists should only be viewed. They should not to be known in advance to keep up the tempo.

Analysis :

 Biriyani-review

The movie although dull in the first part particularly when the songs are pictured, the second part of the film is full of surprises to the audience. Director Venkat Prabhu did his best molding an ordinary story into a good entertainer.

Cinematography has to be appreciated. Although it is Music Director Yuvan Shankar’s 100th movie, he did not do anything special to mark it and make it memorable. The songs made the pace of the movie slow and boring. Comedy scenes are real plus points for the movie with good acting by the actors.

Performance :

 Biriyani-review

The leading stars and all the actors did justice to their roles. Karthi is at his best and Hansika was simply fits in the role.

Final Word:The movie can be watched once for the entertainment part in it.
