Mayuri Story
Maya kills her husband, after knowing that he is involved in extramarital affair. She will be isolated from her daughter, after whom she follows the family of her daughter after her death. At the same time a batch of people start searching for a ring of Maya, which is very expensive. In this process, many killings takes place. The rest of the movie is how Maya’s assets reach Mayuri.
Mayuri Analysis
The first half of the Mayuri film has been very interesting. The story unfolds slowly, revealing about the characters. The narration will be very unique. Especially the poetic narration of few scenes, gives a new feel to the audience. On the whole the first half of the movie has been very impressive with interest and horror shots taking the major role in Mayuri movie.
It is the second half of the Mayuri film, where there are several dips at times and lot of flaws. There are several logic-less scenes. Some of the interesting characters end up with an unknown reasons. However the last half an hour of the movie has been taken good care and the horror episodes along with a strong climax makes the second half decent to watch.
Performance
Nayanathara got a tailor made role. She has delivered a fabulous performance as Mayuri and her expressions are a sure shot appreciable. On the other hand, even, Aari has done an outstanding job and this will stand among his best works. All the other actors have given their best performance.
Though Mayuri story is said to be horror, there is lot of uniqueness, when compared to other stories. Especially, the interesting screenplay along with the nail biting narration makes the movie interesting. The back ground score along with the cinematography are the highlights of the movie. The production values have been grand enough. The director has been successful in delivering a decent movie.
Mayuri Final Word
Mayuri has lot of uniqueness in the narration skills. It would be a treat to the audience, who are waiting for a thundering horror movie.
