Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa narrates the story of Chandra Mahesh (Suriya) who is an Air Force employee but quits his journey in the middle to pursue his dream. He wishes to float an airline company and make flight journey affordable for the people in India. But things do not turn easy as Mahesh predicts. He gets rejected several times in several departments but he keeps it going facing many struggles. Mahesh overcomes all the struggles and he finally floats his airline making his dream come true. Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa is an emotional tale that comes with a straight and realistic narration. The honest performances along with the hard-hitting presentation make it one of the best films in the recent times. The first half of Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa starts at a slow pace and things turn interesting as the story progresses. One cannot expect any commercial elements or songs in the film as it is focused on narrating the story of a youngster who dreams big. The interval episodes stand out and the first half of the film is quite impressive and has a strong narration. Suriya tops the show with his flawless and emotional performance.

The second half too lives up to the expectations. Some of the episodes are exceptionally presented and makes a strong impact. Suriya's honest performance stands out and he carries the entire film on his shoulders. Sudha Kongara should be appreciated for coming out with such an impressive work. The climax episodes take the film to the next level. The film has no songs except a single that sounds good. If you ignore the slow pace, Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa is a decent film for everyone.

Performance

Suriya tops the show with his outstanding performance in the film. His intense and hard-hitting performance will be remembered for a long time. He exceled in the emotional episodes big time. Aparna is the surprise of the film and she carried the role well. Sudha Kongara penned the romantic thread well and Aparna's performance is a treat. Paresh Rawal looks apt for the role and he did his part well. Mohan Babu and Urvashi did their roles well though they did not have a lengthy screen presence. All the other actors did their work well.

Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa has a small plot that is well expanded and stuffed with the right amounts of emotional content and realistic drama. The dialogues are good and some of the episodes are well written. The music and the background score take the film to the next level. The cinematography work stands out and presents the film in a new light which looks realistic. The editing work is good. The production values are exceptional. Sudha Kongara makes sure that Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa looks honest right from the first frame.

Aakaasam Nee Haddu Raa is real, emotional and hard-hitting. Suriya and his team top the show with their stupendous performances throughout.
