I still remember the making, every sequence and songs of ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, that released a decade ago, made Indian Cinema dare to think out of the box. One such person from the film, that bagged all the attention apart from the star cast and Music, is the director of the film, Farhan Aktar. Farhan, made his B – Town debut, into film making, as a son of Veteran Lyric Writer, Javed Aktar. But, it did not take much of a time to Farhan, to shed his father’s image on him, and make an independent identity.
Right with his first film, Farhan proved his worth. From then, there was no looking back for this all rounder, He turned an Actor and playback singer, through the film, ‘Rock On’, then came an experimental film, that is based on a mind game, ‘Kartik calling Kartik’, and now, Farhan is once again entertaining the audience in a multi starrer flick, released recently, creating ‘Hungama’, in the entire B – Town, and all the metro Politian Cities, down South also, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.
Through this Super Hit film, Farhan’s wife, Zoya Aktar, was introduced as a director, proved equal worth as a film maker. Both this duo, seem to be a star and successful couple, wooing the B – Town; they are making their presence in the industry feel special. And I feel, all these have been possible, because of Farhan’s passion towards Cinema, is so high, of course, so is Zoya’s.
