Music composers, Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa threw a party, on Wednesday, at a suburban nightspot in Mumbai, to celebrate their 15-year long partnership. The party had a fair number of stars on their guest list. Most of them took part in the party with lots of vigour and delight. But two people on the dignitary list could not tolerate each other’s presence.
They were Aamir Khan and Gauri Khan. The two avoided each other like the plague, commented an insider. "They were at the party at around the same time. It was very evident, especially since there were not many people at the bash, that they intentionally kept their distance and blatantly ignored each other," explained the insider.
The star rivalry was always the talk of the tinsel town. A few days ago Aamir Khan has apparently refused to be a part of UTV Star’s shows Live My Life, which tracks a celeb's life for a day, simply because it is being produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment. Actually the rivalry triggered off when Aamir wrote on his blog that he christened his pet dog Shah Rukh Khan.
But, clearly, with all three Khans (the third being Salman of course) being at loggerheads when it comes to films, it's not a surprise that it trickles down to other areas of work, too.
