Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and to some extent Anushka Sharma, of course, Vidya Balan... these heroines are known for their success, stardom and performance and demand in B - Town... but, to attain the position on where ever they are standing today, it took a lot of time for these ladies... and even today, many of them will end up doing a role that is not so important for the film, for many reasons... no doubt, even today, B - Town is Hero Centric...
On the other hand, even T - Town is Hero Centric of course, but during the recent years, the notion has been changed... not only T - Town, but other south film industries like K - Town are giving much importance to the heroines, sometimes even more than Heroes... be it in terms of remuneration, the equal importance of roles given to heroines that with Heroes or Brand Endorsements, South Industry's heroine is no less than a star hero...
To take best examples from this last and year's releases, films like 'Eega', 'Oosaravelli', 'Raccha', 'Orange', 'Yendukante Premanta', 'Gabbar Singh', 'Rebel' and the list of the movies is 'on' that have equal importance for heroines along with the heroes of the film...
