We all know that the celebs don't like to make their affairs public or allow the media to get their bite but the Sid-Vid marriage has gone a little beyond the lines in maintaining secrecy. Firstly, they also lied to the media that the marriage was to be held at Chembur but the ceremony in fact took place at Green Mile Building, where Balan earllier shot several commercials with her mentor and filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar.

Not just the media, the family members were also not informed of the venue. They were taken to the venue in a vehicle without telling them where they were going. They were asked not to shoot any pictures of the ceremony to maintain secrecy. Only the closest members of the family were invited to the wedding.  The red saree donned by Vidya was designed by Sabyasachi.

The building was completely sealed and also had a lot of security to ensure that there would be no opportunity to sneak a few images. There are also reports that a reception was being planned for their friends from the industry in the evening.
