Every Eight Hours, NRI Wife Calls Home For Help:- Many of the Indian parents search for a NRI guy for their daughters but here are reasons that will sure leave them worried. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has been left in deep shock with the number of complaints they have received over the past couple of years. On an average, atleast one woman calls home every eight hours who got married to a NRI. The women have been ill-treated or they get physically abused or beaten in most of the registered cases. All these women seek to return back to their hometown which stays thousands of miles away.

The Ministry of External Affairs revealed that they have received 3328 complaints during January 1st 2015 to November 30th 2017, i.e in a period of 1064 days. This is something huge. Most of the women are either from Punjab or from Telugu states AP and Telangana. The National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development also confirmed the number of such complaints coming high. Not all complaints go to ministry and there are thousands more who have been deserted but staying calm.
