Indian Woman Sues US Citizenship And Immigration Services:- An Indian woman filed a lawsuit against the citizenship of the USA and Immigration services for the delay in issuing permits. She accused the authorities of keeping pending around 75,000 unprinted documents. Ranjitha Subramanya is on H-4 dependent visa and her husband Vinod Sinha has an H-1B work visa. Ranjitha Subramanya filed a lawsuit in Ohio's Federal court. She said that her application to extend the H-4 visa and Employment Authorisation Document (EAD) were approved on April 7th and Ranjitha Subramanya is yet to receive the authorization card for her work till date.

Because of this, Ranjitha Subramanya was stopped to work for her employer as her EAD got expired on June 7th, 2020. Ranjitha Subramanya is now jobless and the employer made sure that Ranjitha Subramanya would lose her job if she is not going to submit the proof of employment authorization before August 9th this year. H-4 Visa is issued by Immigration Services of USA for the family members of H-1B visa holders. The spouses of H-1B holders can apply for an EAD who is on an H-4 visa.
