Interest in the US for Higher Studies Dips: Students Looking for Canada and UK:- With the new rules tightened by USA President Donald Trump, a lot of aspirants who had the USA as their first option on their list of their abroad studies are now in the hunt for other options. A top consultant said that 120 out of the 200 students would prefer to study or fly to the USA for higher education. But with the situation changed completely, most of them are now preferring other countries like the United Kingdom and Canada instead of the USA. This year inquiries about the USA are quite less and all those who are applying for USA universities are also exploring other options.

The USA announced that it will not allow the international students into the country if they are taking online classes for the upcoming semesters. Donald Trump's administration also suspended H-1B visa applications till December this year. With this, most of the students are not much interested to study in the USA and they are in hunt for other options. Most of them are aware that it would be quite tough to survive in the USA as the jobs would be restricted for the locals after the coronavirus pandemic. Canada is the top contender for higher education currently and some of them are also quite interested to fly to the United Kingdom. European countries are also witnessing an increased interest after the decline of the students showing interest towards the USA.
