Being photogenic is one of the luckiest thing for a women. We all know that every face and every picture won’t be perfect. It depends on the posture we stand, camera resolution, make up and many more things. Although if you are not photogenic don’t worry! Try to follow these tips and tricks to look beautiful in photos.
 
1. The slimming posture: Every pose you give many not make you look beautiful. It can add or subtract 10+ pounds. If you stand with your hips shoulder width apart, your weight on your back foot, and your front leg slightly bent, you’ll create an instant slimming effect.

2. Don't Square Your Body: Looking straight into the camera doesn’t make you look frumpy. Standing at a 3/4 turn or even with your body to the side is much more flattering, especially if you’re with a group of people it cuts your size in almost half.

3. Keep your arms out: Did you observe the actors pose in the red carpet? They keep their arms away from torso which gives them more definition, making them appear smaller. It will also keep you from hiding the smallest part of your waist. One hand on the hip that is closest to the camera is popular, but if you’re not comfortable with that, just keep them from hugging your torso.

4. Add extra height and body to your hair: To look more attractive try hair styles which adds little bit to your crown. Prefer not to try a style that flatters your face especially in the crown area.

5. Wear camera flattering clothes: clothes are one of the most important things that make you look amazing. Lot of people prefer baggy clothes but they actually make you look bigger and particular. It is good to choose slim fitting clothes in dark shades. If you want any area not to be showcased, prefer ruffles, sheer layers and draping wonders to distract the eye.
 
6. Choose right time of day: While taking pictures at outdoors, the best time of the day to be photographed is around dawn, when the sun is low in the sky. And do remember to face towards the light.

7. Choose right makeup: As camera is 2 dimensional, make up will look different on camera. Wear matte make up, nothing that shines and glitters. Mostly prefer to makeup slightly than normal, especially around the eyes. To make your eyes completely different in pictures, try fake eyelashes. Lastly Concealer and foundation is also important for a flawless look.
