The brightness of teeth may depend on factors like your age and diet. As the age is increased, the outer part of the teeth wears thin, allowing the yellowish dentin to show through. Even the things you eat may cause discoloration of teeth. Here are some simple tips that make your smile look brighter.

Banana peels:

Bananas are healthy fruits that load lot of nutrients. But do you know that banana peels play significant role in whitening your teeth. So, to have brighter teeth rub the peel on your teeth for a minute or two twice daily. The minerals in bananas such as potassium, manganese and magnesium, are absorbed into your teeth, which keeps your pearly whites in their best health.

Brush your teeth regularly:

One of the main reasons of all teeth problems and stains is bacteria. In order to keep your mouth healthy and your teeth white brush them regularly. It is good to brush twice a day. But do remember that the enamel of your teeth softens by the acidic environment in your mouth after eating. So, it is advised to give gap of 30 minutes between your meal and brushing your teeth.

Baking soda:

Baking soda is a good remedy for getting white teeth, but it is not an everyday solution to with and it’s not even recommended if your teeth are sensitive. If you want top try this method, first squeeze your usual toothpaste on tooth brush and top it with a small amount of baking soda and start brushing.

Berry berry strawberry:

Did you know that those bright red strawberries are a great source of teeth whiteners? So, from now start stocking up fresh strawberries. Mash the strawberries and apply this paste on your teeth for 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse properly after this procedure or you can even brush your teeth. Strawberries being a rich source of natural enzyme known as malic acid, helps in whitening teeth, while the fiber found in strawberries act as a natural cleanser that helps in removing the bacteria especially, from the mouth and teeth.

Munch in the crunchy carrots:

The next time you see those crunchy carrots, simply wash them well and eat them raw. Raw carrots are very beneficial in scrapping off plaque from your teeth and are also known as natural cleaner. Also rubbing raw carrot sticks on your teeth will brighten them up. They also kill the bacteria while giving you healthy gums and whiter teeth.
