As the children below the age of 15 years are not eligible for vaccination, some of the parents are worried if this can impact the health of their kids. The experts said that the children have been exhibiting mild symptoms of coronavirus and there is nothing severe among them.

Dr. Vikas Maurya, HOD and Director, Pulmonology, Fortis Hospital, Shalimar Bagh said that there are a lot of adults and children getting tested with the history of fever, cough and sore throat. All these have mild symptoms told Dr. Vikas Maurya. They are the most common symptoms and most of the adults and kids are recovering without any hospitalization. Most of the experts said that the coronavirus had no impact on the kids so far. The experts said that the Omicron and Delta variant are responsible for the rise in the new cases. But the children are at risk of developing the infection as they are not vaccinated. The experts asked the parents to be extra cautious about their kids in the coming weeks as the spread is huge.
