Breastfed Babies will have Multiple Benefits says a study:- There are several researches that explained about the benefits of mother's milk. A new research concluded that Breastfed babies will have lower blood pressure during their childhood and they will have improved heart and vascular health after they turn adults. The findings are published in the Journal of the American Heart Association which is an open-access journal of the American Heart Association. There would be low cardiovascular disease risk factors for Breastfed babies. The breastfeeding is associated with lower heart diseases in adulthood. The amount and the length of breastfeeding was not clearly mentioned as the results were not clear.
Kozeta Miliku, M.D., PhD, clinical science officer of the CHILD Cohort Study and post-doctoral fellow in medicine at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada said "This is the first study to evaluate the association of breastfeeding in the first days of life and blood pressure in early childhood. Infants who received even a relatively small amount of their mother's early breast milk, also known as colostrum, had lower blood pressure at 3 years of age, regardless of how long they were breastfed or when they received other complementary foods". The mother's milk is good for newborns and colostrum, immunologic components are found only in breastmilk told the research.
The research was conducted on 3000 children who are born between 2009 and 2012 and they understood about the early experiences and their developments in the health. The blood pressure in the infants was lower because of the mass index of the body.
