Imagining that live snails to crawl on our face would undoubtedly sound like the thing of nightmares, yet in Japan one company is hoping people will be prepared to pay for it. It was known to be starting from Monday, therefore women who want to shed off dead skin while also clear their pores or roll back the years can submit themselves to five minutes of molluscs.
Ms Manami Takamura, a spokeswoman for Tokyo-based beauty salon Ci:z.Labo said slime from snails helps remove old cells, heal the skin after sun burn and moisturise it as she placed three gastropods on a woman's face. She added that by following this way one can have 100 percent pure snail substance (essence) precisely on the skin.
