Mahindra is offering petrol engines in 2018 onwards

Mahindra, a prodigious Indian automobile manufacturer is planning to embrace its customers by offering them all new petrol-driven models in 2018 onwards. The news was confirmed by Mr Pawan Goenka, the executive director of the company.

For the execution of this plan, the company is also planning to develop a 1.5-litre petrol mill. The company has already owned a 1.2-litre petrol mill that powers the KUV1OO. Mahindra is planning to launch three types of engines (1.2-litre, 1.5-litre, or 2.0-litre) for all its upcoming new models. Moreover, the company is also trying to integrate these engines with its existing models.

Indian car lovers are more inclined towards petrol powered cars as there is very little difference between diesel and petrol models. In some parts of India like Delhi and NCR, diesel cars over 2000cc are banned. So, by analysing and pondering all these points, mahindra has made its final decision that they will go to implement petrol engines to their cars. But now many other manufacturers are also planning to introduce new petrol engines with their upcoming models by considering all the above-mentioned points.
