New iMT Gearbox for Hyundai Venue 1.0 Turbo:- Hyundai Motors announced that the Venue will get a new Intelligent Manual Transmission or iMT gearbox on the T-GDI version that would be launched this month. This is the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol version that will offer hasslefree gear shifts. This gives you a convenience of a clutch-free drive and the driver can also use the gear lever to change the gears which will help the users retain the fun of a manual car. This technology was first announced for KIA Sonet subcompact SUV in the 2020 Auto Expo. Hyundai introduced the same feature in Venue which also competes with the same segment.

The Hyundai Venue T-GDI will get two pedals to operate, brake and accelerate. The Hyundai Venue T-GDI will get a gearshift level but it does not need a clutch pedal to change the gears. Hyundai says that the Transmission Control Unit (TCU) receives a signal from the TGS Level Intention Sensor and the TCU sends a signal to engage hydraulic actuator forming hydraulic pressure. It is then the driver can be able to change the gear without the need of clutch lever. This sounds like a car with manual transmission. Venue Turbo DCT is priced at Rs 9.6 lakhs in Delhi. The Hyundai Venue Turbo iMT will go on sale this month.
