AP Media Houses to be Sued for Baseless Reports Against the Government:- Andhra Pradesh government is focused and is on a strict stand on media which wanted to spread a negative wave against the government. A decision has been taken by the state cabinet yesterday which decided to sue the media houses to the court if they carry any stories against the government without solid evidence. The secretaries of various departments will be responsible to file defamatory cases against the media (print, electronic, social and digital media) if the department finds stories against the government and are without pieces of evidence. Earlier, the departments used to send rejoinders to such negative stories to the media houses through special commissioner of the Information and Public Relations Department. This is sure a huge move from AP Government and the legal action could be taken in 24 hours against the organization which is responsible for spreading fake news. Deputed Constable Kills Self in KCR's Farmhouse:- A deputed constable was assigned duty in Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's farmhouse that is located in Gajwel. He shot himself today and the incident took place at 10.30 AM. The victim was identified as Venkateswarlu and is a native of Valigonda, Yadadri-Bhongir district. Venkateswarlu represents Telangana Special Police Company's 12th battalion. He was deputed recently and is posted in KCR's farmhouse recently. There are speculations that the constable killed himself due to the harassment from the higher officials, the cops denied the argument. The police said that Venkateswarlu was in an inebriated condition. There are talks that Venkateswarlu was an alcoholic and he recently underwent addiction treatment at a private hospital said Joel Davis, Commissioner of Siddipet. P Chidambaram Arrested in INX Media Case:- The Enforcement Directorate officials have been directed to arrest former Union Minister P Chidambaram if needed after he was facing charges of corruption in INX Media Case. The ED officials arrived at the Tihar Jail this morning and they interrogated Chidambaram. Chidambaram’s wife Nalini and son Karti also visited him at the jail premises in the morning. The judicial custody of Chidambaram will be completed by October 17th. Chidambaram sought bail from the Supreme Court in the same case. A three-member team of Enforcement Directorate officials arrested Chidambaram after the questioning for an hour came to an end. The probe agency will be moving the CBI court later in the day seeking Mr Chidambaram's custody. The application will be heard tomorrow. Karti said that his father is in good spirits and he called it a bogus investigation. Arrested by the CBI on August 21, Mr Chidambaram has been in judicial custody since September 5 in the INX Media corruption case. He has been facing infusion of funds worth Rs 305 crores from abroad when Chidambaram was the Union Finance Minister. (Video Source: NDTV)

High Court Slams TS Govt and TSRTC JAC:- With the ongoing TSRTC strike in Telangana, the commonman has been finding it tough to commute in the state. Though the Telangana government said that alternate arrangements are made, they did not live up the expectations. It is over a week and the issue is yet to be resolved. TSRTC JAC intensified their strike and decided not to join the services till their demands are met. Telangana High Court slammed the government and TSRTC JAC asking them to resolve the issue at the earliest as the people are being suffered. The High Court asked them to keep their egos aside and think about the welfare of the people. The High Court asked the Telangana government to initiate talks with JAC and solve the issue soon. The court even said that the employees should rethink about the people's problems and the incurring losses of RTC. The court asked to appoint a regular MD for RTC at the earliest. The issue should be resolved by October 18th without fail said the High Court. Several petitions have been filed in the court and some of them are to be heard on Wednesday and the court will reveal its decision soon. Ban on Tricolor Import Says Centre:- The Indian government imposed ban on the import of tricolor products to the country. Right from Chinese LED lights to the Ganesh and Lakshmi idols, everything is hurting the Indian manufacturers. The Centre issued a notification on Friday through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade saying that the import of national flag will be prohibited. The tricolor can only be made on hand-spun and handwoven cotton, wool, silk khadi 'bunting'. The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) will be eligible to manufacture the national flags in the coming days in the country. Most of the flags sold in the country are made of non-khadi fabric or plastic resulting in the decline of sales by KVIC after which the move has been initiated. Piyush Goyal, the minister for commerce and industries decided to ban the import of flags from China and other countries. KVIC Chairman Vinai Kumar Saxena said that the 'blatant violation of the flag code' impacted the livelihood of many. The flag sales of KVIC were Rs 3.7 crores in 2017-18 and they reached Rs 3.2 crores in 2018-19.

ED Allowed Arresting Chidambaram From Tihar Jail:- Former Union Minister P Chidambaram is facing charges of corruption in INX Media case and is residing in Tihar jail from some time. Just two days before the judicial custody of P Chidambaram coming to an end, A Delhi Court today asked the Enforcement Directorate to arrest him and take him into custody if needed. Special CBI Judge Ajay Kumar Kuhar allowed the Enforcement Directorate to go to Tihar Jail and interrogate P Chidambaram on Wednesday. The court also clarified that he can be arrested on the spot if needed. "It's not of the dignity of this person that you interrogate and arrest him here in public view," the court said. Chidambaram has been remanded till October 17th in the INX Media Case filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation. The 74-year-old has been in Delhi's Tihar jail since September 5. CBI officials completed questioning him in the case. He submitted that the first information report (FIR) was registered by CBI and ECIR was registered by Enforcement Directorate (ED) are based on financial transactions.
