Poor Sleep with a lot of Physical Activity is Dangerous for Health:- A study told that all those who exercise the most but have a poor sleep quality are at a higher risk for death due to the heart disease, cancer or getting heart stroke. The researchers suggested a synergy between the two activities. These findings were published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. Both the poor sleep and physical inactivity are associated with high risk of death and it is not clear if they might to have an impact on the health. The information of 3,80,055 middle aged people has been collected and the average age is said to be 55 years. Both men and women took part in this UK Biobank Study.

The Biobank in the UK is tracking all the issues related to long term health of more than a half of a million people aged between 37 years and 73 years. All the participants supplied their weekly levels of the physical activity through the Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) minutes. These are equivalent to the number of calories expended per minute. 600 MET minutes in a week is equal to the 150 minutes of moderate activity. The results fetched that there is a risk of cardiovascular disease, coronary heart diseases along with lung cancer. 59 percent of the participants have been in high physical activity group and 15 percent of them are in the medium activity group. 10 percent of them are in the low activity group. The study was relied on self-reported data and the key information was collected from the individuals.
