Pearls are delicate and direct contact with other ornaments may damage them. Good precautions should be taken while storing them.
The metal alloy can be affected by moisture which may cause to lose its original luster. A soft interior will help them ornaments get preserved well.
Silver gets damaged due to over-exposure of air and humidity. Silver should be stored in airtight bags.
During monsoon, keep the jewellery away from water. If it is wet, take a soft cloth and make it dry before storing it.
