Ropeway from Dharamshala to McLeod Ganj in just 5 minutes:- The ropeway lane between Dharmashala and McLeod Ganj in Himachal Pradesh will reduce the distance time. The two tourist hotspots between the mountain destinations will be 1.8 km long and it is named as the Dharmashala Skyway and it can transport 100 people in an hour in one direction. The project is valued at Rs 207 crores and has ten towers and has two stations. The entire distance is covered in five minutes. The highest station is in the front of Dalai Lama Temple that is located in McLeod Ganj. Monocable Detachable Gondola technology is used for the construction of the ropeway. The fare is Rs 300 per person for one-side trip and for a round trip, the charge is Rs 500 per head.
