BJP's statements beneficial to YSRC

BJP leader Kishan Reddy has lashed out at the state government for allegedly ignoring the problems of the farmers. He has said that Congress leaders have completely overlooked farmers in the state. He said no government, which ignored farmers, was able to survive. The political observers said Kishan Kumar Reddy, while directly taking on Congress, has apparently targeted his arrows at TDP too as political observers said TDP was unable to come to power in 2004 since it ignored the welfare of farmers.

On the other hand, YSRC earlier told it was due to late YS Rajashekara Reddy's effort that Congress came into power. And everyone knew that YSR promised Harithandhra Pradesh (farmers' state). So, the political observers say the latest statements of Kishan Reddy seem to benefit YSR Congress. Already, YSRC honorary president Vijayamma has started pitching her voice in support of farmers and now Kishan Reddy said Congress ignored the problems of farmers.

It may be noted that earlier India Today reported if BJP was warming up to YSR Congress. May 2012 issue of the magazine stated that BJP leader Maneka Gandhi called up YS Vijayalakshmi and expressed her solidarity towards Jagan's mother. India Today even reported that Maneka Gandhi, the sister-in-law of Sonia Gandhi reminded Vijayalakshmi that she was also a victim of a witch-hunt by Sonia Gandhi.

So it looks like BJP, which is also anti-Congress, would most likely to team up with YSRC in the state in near future to apparently wash out Congress party from Andhra Pradesh.
