Farmers Protest Turns Violent After The Entry Of Anti-Social Elements:- Things were out of the control after the farmers reached Red Fort and rolled into the iconic Mughal-era Red Fort. A protestor passed away when the farmers were on their way and the cops announced that he passed away due to an accident. The farmers entered the forecourt, climbed the ramparts and hoisted a religious flag on a mast. The cops tried hard and they finally removed the flag. The violent incidents started in the morning after the farmers broke all the placed barricades. Some of the key farmer groups called off the tractor rally and they announced that some of the anti-social elements are responsible for the violent incidents in the city. Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting with the officials last evening.

Amit Shah ordered to deploy the additional paramilitary forces in Delhi. The neighboring states Haryana and Punjab are kept on high alert. The internet services are suspended in the National Capital Region (NCR). Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee refused to stick to the planned route and thousands entered into the national capital on foot. Violence broke down in Delhi's ITO. Tear gas was fired on the protestors at Akshardham. The Delhi Metro was closed at several metro stations for the day. 83 cops are injured in various incidents. Samyukt Kisan Morcha announced that the anti-social elements entered into the national capital and made the protest violent. Delhi Commissioner of Police SN Shrivastava and IB director Arvind Kumar attended the meeting with Amit Shah.
