Jagan Lays Foundation Stone for Bhogapuram International Airport

Jagan Lays Foundation Stone for Bhogapuram International Airport:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy laid the foundation stone for Bhogapuram International Airport today (May 3rd), which will be constructed at the cost of Rs 4,592 Cr. Bhogapuram Aiport is 50 km away from Vishakhapatnam and will spread over 2203 acres. The airport going to handle 60 Lakh passengers a year and is expected to be completed in the coming 36 months.

Bhogapuram Airport will be benefitted by the North Andhra region. Jagan addressed the public after laying the foundation stone. Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of Vizag Tech Park Limited of Adani Group in Vishakapatnam, which will be made on an expenditure of Rs 21,844Cr. The tech park is going to give employment to 39,815 and indirectly to 10,610 people.

Jagan also laid the foundation stones of the Taraka Rama Thirtha Sagaram project which will provide irrigation to 24,710 acres and also supply water to Bhogapuram airport. Chitapalli Fish Landing Centre will be benefitted by the fishermen of Vizianagaram district which will be at a cost of 23.73Cr.

Jagan on this account said that he will start working from Vizag from September, which is shifting the capital to Vizag for executive capital operations. However, Jagan when addressing the public in March said that he will shift to Vizag in July and which is now postponed to September.
