Rahul Gandhi Detained After His Protest:- Indian Congress leader and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi has been detained after he staged a protest on the road in New Delhi after his mother and Congress President Sonia Gandhi was drilled by the officials of the Enforcement Directorate. Hundreds of cops rushed to the spot after Rahul Gandhi staged a protest and he was taken into custody. Rahul Gandhi sat on Rajpath, the road that has several VIPs residing and the new Parliament premises. Congress on its official social media page posted a black and white image of Rahul Gandhi along with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi who staged a similar protest in the past. 'History repeating' was the caption for the tweet.

Rahul Gandhi told that he is protest against the rise in the prices, unemployment and other issues that the country has been facing. Several other Congress leaders staged protests and the leaders too were detained. Rahul Gandhi's protest lasted for an hour and he was lifted and taken in a bus. Several other MPs are detained. Rahul Gandhi said that India is a country for the cops and Modi is a King. Congress President Sonia Gandhi is present before the questioning of the Enforcement Directorate over the National Herald Case. The second round of questioning is taking place currently. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra accompanied Sonia Gandhi for the questioning. Rahul Gandhi and others were taken to the Kingsway Camp Police Station after he was stopped from marching to the Rashtrapathi Bhavan.
